The name
babe + dance.
babe is the little person still learning what a body can do. dance is the rhythm they cannot stop: kicking, clapping, banging a block on the table, the moment of air when they are lifted. babedance does not separate the two — when the body wakes up, joy takes shape.
That is why our mark is not a drawing of a baby. A baby is specific and always changing. We draw the moment instead: a ball rising, an arc bent under it, and the small gap that proves the ball is still on its way up.

Founded in 2001, Babedance specializes in designing & manufacturing baby development toys and cloth books, located in Guangdong, China.
Our products are sold globally in compliance with local safety regulations. We work closely with TUV, BV, and other international testing bodies, and our range meets CPC, CPSIA, CE/EN71, ROHS, and other safety and environmental standards. We partner with retailers, publishers, and e-commerce brands worldwide.
Behind the brand is a factory with 26 years of experience, with in-house teams covering design and R&D, sampling, production, quality control, and export. The factory holds BSCI, SEDEX, IGS, Inditex GMP, and other audit certifications. We also provide OEM services and welcome partnership inquiries worldwide.
What we stand for
Our design principles are simple and they are not decorative:
- Soft first. Rounded edges, fabrics and chewable hardness — the first thing a child meets is the first thing we test.
- Made to be thrown and found again. We design for “again!”, not for the shelf photograph.
- Colour that teaches before it decorates. Saturation and contrast do the work; no trend colours that confuse a developing eye.
- One quality system. In-house tooling, moulding, sewing, assembly and QC keep the specification honest.
How we work with partners
Most of our buyers meet us with a category, a price point and a deadline. We answer with a sampling plan, a material and safety review, and a clear production timeline. Where a brand already has a design, we protect it and build the manufacturing route around it. Where a brand needs development, our studio and engineering team take the idea through concept, prototype, safety review and production.
Certified compliance is part of the process, not an afterthought. We prepare the technical file, test reports and packaging artwork required for the target market, and we keep the approved sample as the reference for every batch.

Our facility is organised around the way a product actually gets made: a design studio beside the tooling shop, a soft-goods line beside assembly, and a QC lab that signs off every batch before it is packed. That proximity shortens feedback loops and catches problems while they are still cheap to fix.
