What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as language, cart contents or login state) over a period of time. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tags; in this notice we refer to all of them as “cookies”.
Who sets them
Cookies set by us are “first-party” cookies. Cookies set by services we use — for example hosting, payment or analytics providers — are “third-party” cookies. Third-party providers process data under their own privacy notices, which we link to where possible.
Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the website secure and functional: session state, shopping cart, login, form protection, load balancing and cookie preferences. | Not required — the website cannot work without these. |
| Performance & analytics | Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve navigation, content and product information. Data is aggregated where possible. | Required where required by law; otherwise offered with an opt-out. |
| Functional | Remember choices such as language, region, recently viewed products and form progress. | Required in some jurisdictions. |
| Marketing & advertising | Measure campaigns and show relevant content on third-party platforms. Used only where enabled. | Required. |
The exact cookies in use may change as the website evolves. Where an analytics or marketing tool is active, its name, provider and retention period are documented in the tool's own notice or can be requested from us.
Examples of cookies we may use
| Name / pattern | Category | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
session_id (Odoo) | Strictly necessary | Maintains your session, cart and login state. |
frontend_lang | Functional | Remembers the selected website language. |
cookies_consent / preference cookie | Strictly necessary | Stores which cookie categories you have accepted. |
_ga, _gid (if analytics enabled) | Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and sessions for aggregate reporting. |
How to control cookies
When you first visit the site, a cookie banner allows you to accept or refuse non-essential categories. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer or the banner. You can also control cookies in your browser:
- block cookies for all sites or for this site only;
- delete cookies already stored on your device;
- set the browser to notify you before accepting a cookie;
- use private or incognito mode for one-off visits.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the cart, login or forms from working. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect the functionality of the website.
Third-party services
Some pages may embed or link to third-party services, such as payment providers, maps, video hosting or social platforms. These services can set their own cookies when you interact with them. We do not control those cookies; please review the relevant provider's privacy and cookie notices.
Do Not Track and global privacy signals
Where legally required, we honour recognised opt-out preference signals (for example Global Privacy Control) for the sale or sharing of personal information. Because cookie technologies differ between browsers and regions, the most reliable control remains the cookie settings and your browser settings.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when we add or remove tools, or when the law changes. The current version is always published on this page, with the date shown above.
